About Us

California’s Organization of Aquatic Show Tropicals (C.O.A.S.T.) Fish Club’s mission is to bring together individuals of all ages and walks of life, in the Southern California region and beyond, whom are passionate about freshwater fish-keeping. We have been, and will continue to, serve and educate the novice to expert fish keeper hobbyist for the purpose of education, conservation, and camraderie and community-building. 

California’s Organization of Aquatic Show Tropicals is a not-for-profit organization that was officially registered in the state of California in 1991. We have founding members whom have been attending meetings since 1977, sharing their life experience as hobbyists with various species of fresh water fish and invertebrates and aquatic plants within aquatic environments such as aquariums, vivariums, terrariums, and paludariums.
