AQUASHELLA LA (POMONA FAIRPLEX) taking place October 25-26, 2025, was the first time ever that Aquashella brought their show to the west coast region. As a non-profit club, we worked tirelessly with the organizers of Aquashella, George Mavrakis, Joanne, Matt, and others from their team, to help volunteer with our (25+) street team volunteers from @coastfishclub, working the entirety of both Saturday and Sunday’s event, checking guests in at admission, holding down the fort in the raffles area, canvassing the event with our tri-fold flyer pamphlets, and representing our club wearing our COAST FISH CLUB WORLD TOUR ’25 T-SHIRT inspired by AQUASHELLA, which we sell exclusively with our MTO vendor @collectiveculturez here: https://www.collectiveculturez.com/products/the-c-o-a-s-t-collection/c-o-a-s-t-aquashella-25-53408626
Without a doubt, the first ever event in SoCal was a massive success at over 7,000 attendees in total, well over 1000-2000 attendees than even George thought would show up. And show up we did! COAST did our part to promote our tri-fold flyers and establish buzz across social media and our SoCal fish freshwater community of hobbyists to deliver a smooth and enjoyable event! Freshwater fishkeepers were responsible for over 75% of the attendees for the event, which just goes to show our hobby is alive and strong in the Southern Californa region!
COAST Fish Club had its own vendor space 20×10 ft booth #112, in the main area, which we used our display to feature five reputable and respected top breeders and sellers from our fish club, @fish.a.rea, @bigdvsfish, @nature_prn & @medaka_fein, @festaefactory & @starmedaka. We had over 50 tanks and thousands of dollars worth of livestock at our booth between our multiple reputable sellers, and we represented our fish club proudly the entire weekend showcasing our club’s community at the main stage event.
